Washington Park Early Learning Center!
Both 2011-2012 classes are currently full at this time and have waitlists. The application process for the 2012-2013 year is as follows:
On Monday, January 9, 2012, families new to WPELC can download applications for the 2012-2013 school year.
On Friday, February 3, 2012, completed applications, along with a $35 non-refundable application fee, will be due.
On Monday, February 13, 2012, we will mail out letters notifying all families that applied of either acceptance or wait list status.
Please note: we do not fill our classes on a first-come, first-serve basis. Instead, we fill classes using a “loose lottery” in order to balance each class by age and gender as much as possible.
Scholarship applications (Financial Aid) are also available to download.
To apply, children must meet the following age guidelines:
Early Learners must be 2½ by September 1, 2012.
Preschoolers must be 3½ by September 1, 2012.
If you are interested in visiting the school, tours are available during school hours by appointment.
Visiting at 9:00 am is ideal so you can see the kids’ morning circle time and some of their choice time.
